Empty Bowls is a grassroots movement by artists and craftspeople in cities and towns around the world to raise money for food-related charities. Artists donate handmade bowls, people purchase tickets for a simple meal of soup and bread, and choose an empty bowl to take home as a reminder of those who have empty bowls at home due to food insecurity. Funds raised will support Merchant Street Food Pantry, which is part of Agape Community Outreach Mission (ACOM.) This is a community effort and there are many ways to get involved!
